At Urban Garden & Eco Design, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This Return Policy outlines the terms and conditions for returns, exchanges, and refunds for products and services purchased through our website or in-person.

Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return, the following conditions must be met:

• Items must be returned within 30 days of purchase
• Items must be in their original condition, unused, and in original packaging
• Proof of purchase (receipt or invoice) must be provided
• Custom-made or personalized items are not eligible for return unless defective

Live Plants and Perishable Items

Due to the nature of live plants and perishable items, special return conditions apply:

• Live plants must be returned within 7 days of purchase if they arrive damaged or unhealthy
• Plants must be returned in the same condition as received
• We reserve the right to inspect returned plants before issuing a refund
• Perishable items such as organic fertilizers and soil amendments are not returnable once opened

Service Cancellations

For our subscription and consultation services:

• Consultation services may be cancelled up to 24 hours before the scheduled appointment for a full refund
• Subscription services may be cancelled at any time, with refunds prorated based on unused service period
• Services already rendered are not eligible for refund

How to Initiate a Return

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

2. Provide your order number and reason for return
3. Receive return authorization and instructions
4. Package the item(s) securely in original packaging
5. Ship the item(s) to the address provided (return shipping costs may apply)

Return Shipping

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless:

• The item was defective or damaged upon arrival
• We sent you the wrong item
• The return is due to our error

We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance for valuable items.

Refund Process

Once we receive and inspect your returned item:

• We will notify you of the receipt of your returned item
• We will inspect the item and notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund
• If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5-10 business days
• You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been processed

Refund Methods

Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase:

• Credit/Debit card refunds: 5-10 business days
• PayPal refunds: 3-5 business days
• Cash purchases: Store credit or check refund (may take up to 14 business days)

Exchanges

We offer exchanges for items of equal or greater value:

• Exchanges must be requested within 30 days of purchase
• Items must be in original condition and packaging
• Price differences will be charged or refunded accordingly
• Shipping costs for exchanges are the responsibility of the customer

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or exchange:

• Custom-designed installations and terrariums (unless defective)
• Opened or used organic fertilizers and soil amendments
• Gift cards and promotional items
• Services already rendered
• Items damaged by customer misuse or neglect

Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective item:

• Contact us immediately (within 48 hours of delivery)
• Provide photos of the damage or defect
• We will arrange for replacement or full refund at no cost to you
• We may request return of the damaged item for quality control purposes

Store Credit

In some cases, we may offer store credit instead of a refund:

• Store credit may be issued for items returned after the 30-day period
• Store credit does not expire
• Store credit can be used for any products or services
• Store credit is non-transferable and non-refundable
